Richardson/Plano AA Scholarship Fund

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Richardson/Plano Alumnae Association and to provide a legacy for the future, the board established an endowed scholarship through Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation.  At the 50th Anniversary Celebration in March 2015, we announced that we reached our goal of $60,000 and a scholarship will be awarded to one area Kappa each year in perpetuity.  This accomplishment is remarkable from an association of our size... but the generosity of Kappas continues.  Funding for the first scholarship is in the bank and we have contributions and pledges to fund a second $60,000 scholarship.

Update as of October 12, 2017, we were pleased to announce that our Richardson/Plano Alumnae Association has fully funded TWO scholarships for Kappa scholars.

We have deposited over $121,000 in our scholarship fund with a small number of outstanding pledges.  When these pledges are fully paid in 2020 the total will be over $133,000.

We will continue to add to the fund as we send donations to the Foundation, so we can expect the fund to continue to grow.

This is an impressive accomplishment for an organization the size of ours, and we should all be SO proud.

Thanks to all who have contributed and don’t forget to ear-mark future donations to the R/P Kappa Scholarships.

Here are some details about this year’s scholarships sent from Headquarters:
